Public Release Patch V1.01


Patch V1.01 has been released! We tidied up a couple of issues and added some additional polish and QOL changes.

General Changes & Additions

- Upgrade pickups will no longer provide multiple upgrades with the same effects (Trigger Finger + Cup O' Joe, Focus + Sharpshooter, etc.)

- Acquired upgrades can now be viewed and examined in the pause menu

- Drones will now keep a set distance between themselves and the enemy while attacking

- Added a DPS testing dummy to the Parallel (Shop Area)

- Added some extra decoration to Nautilica

- Bubble Shield now gives +1 Shield upon obtaining the upgrade

- Fire zones created by Arachnatron now extinguish upon defeating the boss

- Massive internal re-write of the upgrade system

- Stratosphere's Tele-Gate's sprite now changes based on whether it can be interacted with or not

- Added a new message from SHAW upon defeating Derelict.

Fixes

- Tweaked spawn position of the Gorger on the first combat encounter in Nautilica to prevent it basically spawning on top of you

- Adjusted the tunnel leading to the Nautilica boss so that it doesn't dissappear while still on screen

- Fixed Kraeton Carrier's computer interaction SFX not being affected by the volume mixer

- Fixed the doors in Nautilica's launch site not fitting the gaps in the walls

- Added a tentacle wall on Nautilica Right Station Layout 1 to prevent going out of bounds

- Fixed the "Clear Achievements" option in the save management menu not working

- Fixed an error with Void Rift

Balancing Changes

- Heavy Hitter - Crit Chance Multiplier reduction reduced (50% -> 33%). This is to make it less of a trade-off and more beneficial even when not speccing into crit upgrades.

- RNG Manipulation - Moved to the Altar Pool

- Mirror and Arachnatrons shotgun pellets now dissipate after 5 seconds

- Enemy Shotgun projectile velocity reduced (350-450 -> 300-400)

- Rotting Shotgunner projectile velocity reduced (500-600 -> 400-500)

- Reduced base Barrel Carrier speed (3 -> 2.5). Barrel Carriers launch velocity now scales with its movement speed. ( **:)** )

- Increased range from which Barrel Carriers can attack.

- Barrel Carriers have a reduced grace period after spawning before they can do their launch attack.

- Barrel Carriers now have a secondary check to see if the player is very close to them before initiating their launch attack. This has a smaller grace period but has a slightly longer windup before attacking.

- Shotgun base attack cooldown increased (0.85s -> 1.1s)

- Shotgun projectile velocity decreased (700-800 -> 650-750)

- Chaingun Ship tweaked rate of fire (5.7 -> 6.6 shots per second)

- Balanced out the final secret encounter in Nautilica
